Aachen, 18th December 2018 - Due to the fact that so many countries have difficulties with different issues, we want to donate the budget we usually spend on Christmas presents. We believe that this is the best way to match the origin of Christmas. The awareness of shared responsibility may bring us closer together than any other gesture of solidarity.
Our donation goes to Pacific Garbage Screening, an environmental project from Aachen. The founder Marcella Hansch visited us today in our Aachen office to receive a cheque for the amount of 1.250 €. Marcella and her team leave a remarkable footprint in this world. We would like to express our deepest ‘thank you’ to everyone involved, volunteers and other supporters.
Aachen/Berlin, November 2018 - Frettwork opens its fourth location in Berlin in November. The capital office will be run by Andrew Penninggers. The 55-year-old is a graduate biologist with a commercial background. With more than 20 years of experience in various positions in the pharmaceutical industry, he has been specializing in recruitment and project management since 2004.
Aachen - About four weeks ago our founder and Managing Director Barbara Frett has been nominated and honored at the VisionPLUS founder’s competition. We had a great evening and we are very proud of these great results!
Limburg, 8th September 2019 - The Ride4Fun is an event designed to spent disabled people an unforgettable day. Like last year, Frettwork was a part of this year's event.https://www.ride4fun.nl/sponsoren/
January, 8th 2018 - By relocating their new office into “westTor”, Personnel consultancy Frettwork is driving their strategy for growth forward. At January 15th, the team will move to the new and bigger premises in the exclusive office building within proximity of the Dutch border.
On the 4th floor, the five-member team will have 150m2 to their availability. The wonderfully bright office spaces will allow for creative and efficient working. State of the art in-house communication infrastructure provides a reliable means of conducting interviews with candidates from all over the world. A big conference room will serve as a space for face-to-face interviews, coaching, candidate trainings and seminars.
The “westTor” office building is situated in the west of Aachen, in close proximity of the university hospital, various RWTH Aachen University institutes as well as the new campus Melaten. The two towers of this building are often considered as the “western gate to Vaals”, the Netherlands, presumably giving the complex its name.
“Architecturally, the building is very appealing which fits our business. First, being the ‘gateway to the Netherlands’, it visualises our high ambitions to grow into the neighbouring country”, Barbara Frett explains excitedly. “Second, for a personnel consultancy, the proximity to the RWTH and Campus Melaten is enormously important.”
Next to opening Frettwork international B.V. in Landgraaf (NL) and the office in the Rhine-Main region (Großwallstadt) in April 2017, as well as recruiting several new staff members, the relocation to the new premises – that are almost three times as big as the old office – forms the next step towards expansion and growth for Frettwork network GmbH.
Moreover, the experienced HR manager shows strategic foresight: “We now have sufficient space to expand ourteam without having the need to move again.”
As of January 15th 2018, the new business address of Frettwork network GmbH is as follows: Vaalser Straße 259, 52074 Aachen.
Aachen, 18th October 2017 – Offspring arrived at the recruitment agency Frettwork network GmbH.
On 9th October 2017, Eda Sarikurt started her vocational education as a commercial assistant. To accomodate the companies’ explosive growth, Frettwork invests in fostering young talent.
“As a recruitment agency, we are aware of the tense job market conditions, especially in Aachen”, explains manager Barbara Frett. “Since the company was founded, supporting our own offspring is a main focus because we attach great value to long-term sustainable personnel management. Currently, we have two trainees in the commercial area and in 2018 a third training position will open.”
Next to youth-training, Barbara Frett focusses on strategic development and continued growth of employees. To this aim, her executive employee Tom Lankes is preparing himself for the IHK trainer course exam.
Starting December 2017, the training programme at Frettwork will be under his supervision.
“I’m proud to take my examination in workplace pedagogy and to supervise the training programme at Frettwork. The company is merely two-and-a-half years old and continues to grow in a very dynamic market. From an early stage, our trainees roll up their sleeves and are involved in our projects. The often described ‘hands-on mentality’ is part of our daily activities.”
By employing Eda Sarikurt the Frettwork team expanded to eight people.
October 5th 2017 – Five employees put on their running shoes for charity at the business run 2017, in Aachen last Friday.
Putting together great external teams is very important to Frettwork, as is functioning well together internally. Therefore, the frettworkers started training for the run weeks ago. Despite differences in performance levels, they succeeded in achieving a magnificent result and each team member crossed the finish line setting a new personal record. Their fastest runner successfully completed the almost 5km long run in 22 minutes.
It didn’t take the participants very long to notice that the journey is the reward. Their extensive preparations and mutual motivation left a great impression on the team which has brought them closer together. They are already looking forward to the starting signal in 2018.
Aachen, 1st May 2017 – Two years after foundation of personnel services Frettwork network GmbH, further development is clearly subject to growth.
For their international clientele, Frettwork established a international LLC based in Landgraaf, Netherlands on 20th April 2017. Simultaneously, a branch office in the Rhine-Main region was launched.
In the Aachen head office, Tom Lankes started as a consultant and recruiter in March 2017. Additionally, he undertakes several tasks including business development and marketing.
“As a recruitment agency, we are aware of the tense job market conditions for specialists”, explains manager Barbara Frett. “My extensive network and experiences are critical factors for the success of my business. People know me and my standard of quality.”
Since 1992, Barbara Frett has been working in personnel services, among other things as head of training at Vobis Microcomputer AG, Maxdata, international human resources manager at Ford Dodge Veterinary GmbH (a Division of Wyeth/Pfizer Pharma) and at TravelTainment GmbH (a company of Amadeus Leisure Group). Furthermore, she is a voluntary judge at the local court in Aachen since 2000. Due to growing demand, she chose to fully dedicate herself to her consulting agency Frettwork network since April 2016.
Aachen, 1st September 2016 – Starting 1st September 2016, Anett Brunner (47) will join the Frettwork network team, filling the position of senior consultant.
Brunner completed her studies in engineering and economy and gained more than 18 years of experience in successfully placing specialist and executive staff. During her work as research consultant for Gerhard Schäfer personnel services and Kloepfel consulting, she gained extensive knowledge in the personnel services sector. In addition to pharma, medical technology, engineering, industrial services and production, she focuses on fashion and lifestyle. Her tasks at Frettwork consist of supporting companies and costumers by recruiting executive and technical staff on a permanent or interim basis. “The dynamics and professionalism within this team persuaded me to get on board at Frettwork network”, says Brunner.
Barbara Frett is thrilled with the latest addition to her consulting team: “Thanks to Anett Brunner’s expertise, we are happy to extend and optimise our services to new target markets.”
Aachen, 30th June 2016 – In times when specialists and training places fall short, it’s important to offer youth a safe future, hence Frettwork takes the responsibility as an employer and will start training in 2016.
“I always took particular interest in initial vocational education. We need to give young people the opportunity to integrate themselves into the community”, says Barbara Frett, founder and manager of Frettwork network GmbH. “Trainees start contributing to the company from an early stage. We should make use of these talents and foster them by providing vocational training.”
Thus, Barbara Frett followed her personal guiding principles and accepted the first trainee in office management. Starting this year, he will start his vocational qualification in office management in which he will work on sophisticated office and business processes. This in 2014 implemented apprenticeship unifies the three formerly profiles “commercial clerk”, “office clerk” and “office communication assistant” under a new job description.
This combination allows for a clearly structured and modern sector-specific offer. Through this extensive offer, the trainee is provided with the ideal circumstances to work independently while forming a good base for his professional future.
March, 3rd. 2016 – The round table of the health and pharmaceutical industry followed by a gala evening was held in Mainz. In a panel discussion Dr. Auma Obama talked about her work, women’s promotion and the challenges in Africa. She is founder and chairwoman of the Sauti Kuu Foundation. Sauti Kuu – Kiswahili, for "Powerful Voices" – is a foundation that seeks to give disadvantaged children and youth worldwide an opportunity to unlock their potential.
After that, Dr. Obama holds her lecture: „from Woman to Woman“. In the context of the event, the book project „21 successful women – 21 career formulas „ was presented.
On January 21st 2016 , the interesting event „burnout in the working world – causes, consequences, solutions” has taken place in Aachen.
Invited key note speakers were Prof. Dr. med. Gerhard Gründer, deputy Director of the clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic RWTH Aachen, and Prof. Dr. Ingo Froböse, university professor for prevention and rehabilitation in sport at the German sport university in Cologne.
